Brabant Belgian Draft Horses

Brabants - Fun to ride and drive!
Back To Basics Farm is located on the beautiful Stonington Peninsula of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Noel and Michelle Czygan, along with their two children, reside at the historic farm. The Czygan's raise Brabant (European Belgian) horses. They ride and drive their Brabants. Noel and Michelle find the Brabant horses easy to work with and train. They are very gentle and willing horses. The Czygan's specialize in training young horses, of any breed, to ride and drive. They practice gentle, natural horsemanship methods of training.
When not training horses, Noel does carpentry work and Michelle owns Party Time Pony, a mobile pony ride and petting zoo business. She also gives riding lessons, and has been a farrier since 1991.
The Czygan's collect old horse drawn implements. They plan to open a horse drawn vehicle and implement museum in the near future. They also plan to host field days, demonstrating the equipment.
